I was fotunate enough to be asked to play a couple of solos on this CD. Ben Asaro, the guitar player in Twilight Odyssey told me about the track late last year and asked me if I would be willing to trade solos with him...Now Ben kicks ass on guitar so I decided that it .would be very cool to work with him on the solos...He sent me the demo backing tracks early in 2004 and we laid down some scratch solos which sounded great. My final solos were laid down in early April 2004...I spoke with Ben about a week before I flew out to Atlanta and he said he would be sending me the track within a week...I wasn't gonna be here though! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Anyway, he worked incredibly hard and got me the track by the end of the weekend and I recorded the solos over a 2 day period. I had a bit of "red light" syndrome on this one but I got the solos done. Ben liked the first version of the main solo, which was the same as the demo solo, but I changed my outro solo to contrast and compliment Ben's firey, vibrato laden licks...the track has a very cool 80s feel to it and PG's voice really gives it a cool angle...
