I picked up a guitar 20 years ago. Little did I know then that the 15 minutes a day I started with would soon turn into 30 mins, then an hour, then two hours, then three!!! I had a passion for and obsession with playing guitar which continues even today. 20 years on, when I pick up a guitar I'm still the kid that I was when I first started...I'm lucky enough to be a professional musician now and in addition to running my studio, writing and recording, and producing music,I also teach guitar and pro-audio at my studio, Sacred Sound.
My teaching ethos/approach is to help student become REAL Guitar Heros! My lessons are all set around what the student wants to learn and achieve - my students fget to learn the songs that they like and want to play. Complete beginners start off on a foundation course to teach them the basics, and most of them are able to play a simple song from the very first lesson! Courses for intermediate and advances students are tailored to individual needs. I have taught a lot of different styles and artists; including Jimi Hendrix, George Lynch, Neil Young, Firewind, Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Brian Setzer, Bring Me The Horizon, Framing Hanley, Guns'n'Roses, and Pink Floyd.
